Recent news report about the massacre at Virginia Tech just gives me shivers all over.
seems like it sparked off yet another debate on US gun culture.
hey. so whats the use of debating about this topic over the decades and not correcting the present situation before another tragedy strikes.
then again...so what if guns are banned?
it doesnt guarantee that such incidents will never happen again.
arent there like 100,000 other weapons around???
evidently, there are no clear-cut solutions to this issue.
i suspect the root of this problem has to do with over-exposure to violent shows, games etc since young.
lack of censorship perhaps? -shrugs-
as long as there is unhappiness within us, everyone is actually susceptible to letting their emotions run out of hand.
that is why people say its always better to talk to a friend whenever you're feeling down.
because of this, i pity the murderer more than i condemn him, for the very fact that he doesnt have anyone he can share his problems and emotions with. (he was said to be a loner)

i just thank God that my brother is all the way at the other end of the country.
