"The quiet break of the soul that comes when you realise that what looked like a rainbow was actually only a trick of the light."
-- adapted from My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult.

Not the most impactful one, but definitely one of my favourite sentences in the book. quite a heartrending moment when this sentence came. i borrowed the book from my friend after learning about the so-called "unexpected twists" (arent twists supposed to be unexpected) at the end, so ok, i found twist 1 rather shocking, twist 2 was good too, but the last twist was in my opinion, cliche and it almost ruin the entire plot. my first thought was -sheesh- to think that was the twist ive been trying to guess ever since i embarked on reading this book. other than that, i think this book deserves the accolades it received, so do read it if you havent.

KL trip wasnt too bad, but im really looking forward to TW trip set tentatively around early july. (all-girls trip, woohoo!) thankfully, there are still a few months more for me to fret over my finances! im not sure if the US trip in may is a blessing or not. my brother asked me if i want to take part in this-> www.ingbaytobreakers.com (it is a 12km run across San Francisco.............)

i dont know what was he thinking, seriously. the longest distance ive ever ran was probably tjc's 3.6km road run.

anws, some KL photos. we didnt take a lot of photos, though:

The camera was on another table, so why did
